Our team builds automation platforms as internal self-service products, enabling tech squads to deliver innovations and features in a competitive pace, while mitigating business risks with integrated governance and processes.
This role is a hands-on, multi-skilled role that encompasses application lifecycle management, architecture, technical design, application development, technical testing and infrastructure competencies.
You will be involved with efforts ensuring that applications are designed, developed, deployed and maintained in alignment with infrastructure capabilities and operational considerations.
It requires collaboration with a large set of stakeholders across Infrastructure, Architecture and Development to ensure applications run smoothly and are scalable in meeting transaction growth.
Some of what are you going to be involved in will be…
- Driving Continuous Improvement by extending automation across the software delivery, infrastructure and operations practices.
- Providing operations and infrastructure support to the software delivery teams.
- Supporting our production deployment and disaster recovery capabilities.
What do we look for? Someone who has…
- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages - PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Perl, Shell scripting, Linux scripting skills such as BASH or KSH
- Understanding of Operating Systems, differences between Microsoft and Linux stack
- Understanding of software/system design patterns
- Understanding of database principles (RDBMS/NoSQL)
- Understanding of good/bad practices in systems design
- Understanding of approaches to performance-tuning
