Your Opportunity:
As the Logistics Administrator based at our Melbourne Head Office, you will support the merchandise and distribution teams through data administration in relation to logistics and warehouse stock management. This role is an integral part of the business workflow and a fantastic opportunity to work cross functionally across two key departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receipt goods into AP21 upon final confirmation of accurately received goods
- Close off open production orders
- Provide clear communication to remainder of head office regarding deliveries and expected arrival dates
- Accurately enter updated shipment costings into AP21 upon confirmation on inbound freight charges
- Work closely with Inventory Coordinator to action best practice for receipting and allocations
- Maintain delivery schedule based on shipping documents
- Record Import Duty details for each shipment so data is available for Duty Drawback claim for goods exported
- Maintain the stock integrity of all head office warehouses, ensuring SOH is accurate. Perform ad-hoc partial stocktakes if required
- Participate in weekly rolling stocktakes for head office warehouses
- Partake in bi-annual stocktakes for head office warehouses
- Investigate transfer errors from HO warehouses to store and back, performing manual counts where necessary, running stock movement reporting and tracking toll movements
- Monitor any product ‘stuck’ in sales orders, follow process to clear to ensure all stock is being utilized
- Upload HS Codes into AP21
- Upload Custom data for international shipping into AP21
- Support digital team with commercial invoicing to overseas clients
- Maintain strong relationships with the Retail, Distribution, Production, Digital and Finance Teams.
- Support staff with logistics-based queries
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience in a similar role desired
- Expert and demonstrates clear problem-solving and resolution skills
- Effective team player and communicator who establishes highly reputable and professional relationships with all colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure, is responsible and highly organised
- AP21 or similar retail solutions software experience preferred but not essential
- Excel understanding and experience
- Complex Problem Solving skills, by identifying complications and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
