We are now seeking a Project Administrator to join one of our account teams.
The Project Administrator is responsible for project monitoring, risk/issue/changes for all projects. This approach helps the department to enhance its performance and increase the profitability. The position is required to assist and support Project Managers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Co-ordinate deployment of new projects involving hardware and database configuration, co-ordination and liaison with all relevant NEC resources, Carriers, Vendors and Clients to obtain information and/or action to enable the service
- Raise permission to work on customer network.
- Co-ordinate the initiation of reporting on new clients
- Manage and co-ordinate service requests logged via the portal through to resolution including the co-ordination of any resource(s), monitoring of financials, ensuring customer outcomes are achieved
- Manage and implement any relevant changes whether financial changes or changes to scope
- Proactively monitor Projects for delivery, profitability, issues / risks/ variations. Ensure customer satisfaction
- Involved in the execution of the Project plan, actively promoting the PMO, client service philosophy and strategies relating to client Deployment
- Provides administrative support to project managers and project teams
Skills / Experience:
- Experience in working in an office environment and providing Administration support to a broader team
- Strong background in an administration or support role
- Strong appreciation of customer service and willingness to deliver
- Basic understanding of online reporting systems
- A good background in project administration is desirable
- Intermediate competence in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
- Knowledge of SharePoint systems or other document management systems desirable
- Knowledge in telecommunication networks desirable.
- Degree/Certificate in Project Management and/or Project Management Certification PMBOK/Prince2 highly regarded
