Senior Business Advisor

About the Role
You will assist clients in all aspects of tax and finance, including completion of tax returns, financial statements, and other compliance works. You will be proactive in providing business advisory services to deliver significant value to your clients, helping them understand their current financial position through regular management reports and meetings, and providing practical advice on actions to steer their business in the right direction. Take full accountability for a portfolio of customers, building a deep and trusted business partnership as you provide them with expert guidance and advice.
About You
This role will suit someone who has the desire to own client relationships and add long-term value to them by providing proactive consulting skills, catching up for a coffee and listening to their situations.
- Proven business advisory and /or consulting skills
- Extensive Australian public practice accounting experience
- CPA/CA qualification (or near completion)
- Excellent taxation and accounting knowledge
- Demonstrated problem solving, analytical, and mentoring capability
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- A preference to collaborate and enjoy a team-based culture
- Strong experience with Xero

This a permanent full-time role (8.30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday) offering a competitive salary (based on experience) + plus superannuation and uncapped bonuses.
